Vincent BRUYÈRE
CTO
Vincent received his PhD in mechanical engineering from the National Institute of Applied Science (Lyon), with a research topic related to lubricated contacts. Following a post-doctoral position at the Atomic Energy and Alternative Energies Commission (CEA), Vincent now works at SIMTEC as a modeling engineer. He develops numerical models applied predominantly to fluid dynamics as well as to thermal and electromagnetic applications.

Jean-Marc DEDULLE
Head of Electromagnetism Modeling Dept.
Jean-Marc is an Associate Professor at Grenoble INP in Phelma, laboratory LMGP. He works part-time for SIMTEC. During his PhD in 1989, he worked on anisotropic effects and on saturation in 3D in magnetic transformer circuits. He continues to improve upon his numerical expertise through his various professional experiences (R&D Engineer at DT2I, founder and owner/manager of IRIS TECHNOLOGIES…). After SIMTEC bought IRIS TECHNOLOGIES, Jean-Marc joined us bringing his expertise in electromagnetism and electrotechnics.

Jean-David WHEELER
Head of App Dept.
During his mechanical engineering studies at the INSA de Lyon, Jean-David contributed to the development of a multi-scale modeling method. After this, he studied thermal and rheological effects in lubricated contacts from a numerical and experimental point of view. It is for this work that he obtained his PhD in Mechanics. Then he joined SIMTEC and now develops numerical models which include Heat Transfers and Electromagnetism. Jean-David is an expert in developing apps that enable users to make the most of high-tech numerical models in a short space of time.

Sergey
SEMENOV
CFD / Heat Transfer
Sergey has obtained his diploma in physics in 2006 in Russia and has defended his PhD thesis on modelling of droplets evaporation in 2012 at Loughborough University in UK (European FP7 project MULTIFLOW). He has an extended background in modelling of thermocapillary phenomena ; evaporation-driven thermo-convective instabilities ; hydrodynamics of multiphase systems with capillary phenomena at interfaces and multiscale modelling of alloys solidification (MICAST project). In 2020 Sergey has joined SIMTEC, bringing his expertise in modelling of transport phenomena..

Anthony
PAUMIER
CFD / Heat Transfer
Anthony graduated from Grenoble INP ENSE3 with a degree in Mechanics and Energies. After completing several internships and projects in fluid mechanics, he spent a year developing hybrid RANS/LES turbulence models within the lattice Boltzmann method framework at M2P2. He then joined the COMSOL France team, developing advanced features for the Heat Transfer module, with a focus on non-isothermal flows, phase change, moisture/species transport and radiation in participating media. In 2026, he joined SIMTEC, bringing with him his expertise in thermal engineering and in-depth knowledge of the software.

Julie PERARD
Materials Physics
Julie graduated from Grenoble INP PHELMA in Materials Science and Engineering in 2023. She completed several internships during her training. She worked on the bending-torsion coupling of carbon filament strands at the 3SR laboratory, then on the modeling of bikes suspensions as her final year project. She also spent a semester at NTNU University in Norway, perfecting her knowledge of biomechanics and life-cycle assessment. Julie has joined SIMTEC in 2023, bringing her expertise in materials physics.
